My Mom was here visiting me in Nyc for the past 6 days, so we went to a few places I have never bothered to venture to, like the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, @ downtown Brooklyn. The gardens were beautiful and tranquil. The Japanese garden and Rose gardens were especially cool. We exhausted ourselves on our mission of finding the most fragrant rose, but they were mostly really light and subtle so we gave up. There was also an amazing vegetable section. The picture before the last one is lettuce! There was every herb imaginable and the strawberries and dill were tasty.
